Docrix: B2B Pharmaceutical Platform

Docrix: B2B Pharmaceutical Platform

Docrix Healthcare is a pharmaceutical company focused on delivering quality and affordable medicines through PCD pharma franchise and third-party pharmaceutical manufacturing services across India.

I developed the Docrix website using WordPress and WooCommerce, creating a scalable digital platform that combines a professional pharmaceutical website with e-commerce capabilities. The goal was to provide a clear online presence for the company while making it easier to showcase pharmaceutical products, organize product information, and support customer enquiries.

The Challenge

Docrix needed a modern, professional website that could effectively represent its pharmaceutical business while providing a flexible platform for managing a growing product catalog.

The website needed to:

  • Present the company and its pharmaceutical services professionally

  • Showcase pharmaceutical products in an organized structure

  • Provide detailed product information

  • Support WooCommerce-based product management

  • Make product discovery simple for customers and business partners

  • Provide a responsive experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices

  • Give the business an easy-to-manage WordPress administration system

  • Create a foundation that could scale as the product catalog grows

My Role

I worked as the Full Stack Developer responsible for the website development and technical implementation.

My responsibilities included:

  • WordPress development

  • WooCommerce integration

  • Website architecture

  • Custom theme development and customization

  • Product catalog implementation

  • Product category structure

  • Responsive frontend development

  • WordPress and WooCommerce configuration

  • Custom functionality

  • Performance-focused development

  • Website testing and debugging

  • Deployment and ongoing technical improvements

WordPress Development

I used WordPress as the core CMS so the Docrix team could manage website content and pharmaceutical product information without depending on developers for every content update.

The website was structured around the company's key business areas, including pharmaceutical products, services, company information, and enquiry-driven customer journeys.

The CMS architecture also made it easier to maintain product information and expand the website as Docrix's product portfolio grows.

WooCommerce Development

WooCommerce was integrated to provide a flexible product management and e-commerce foundation.

The implementation included:

  • Product management

  • Product categories

  • Individual product pages

  • Product descriptions and specifications

  • Product imagery

  • Product navigation

  • WooCommerce configuration

  • Structured product catalog

  • Responsive product layouts

Product pages were designed to make important pharmaceutical information easy to discover while maintaining a clean and professional user experience.

Product Catalog

A major part of the project was creating an organized pharmaceutical product catalog.

Products can be grouped into relevant categories, allowing users to browse the available portfolio more easily.

Individual product pages provide structured information such as product name, composition, packaging, category, and other relevant product details.

This creates a scalable structure where additional products can be added and managed directly through WordPress and WooCommerce.

Responsive User Experience

The website was developed with a responsive-first approach to ensure that users can access the platform across different devices.

The interface was optimized for:

  • Desktop computers

  • Laptops

  • Tablets

  • Mobile phones

Special attention was given to product browsing, navigation, content readability, and mobile usability.

Performance & Maintainability

The development focused on creating a maintainable WordPress implementation that could be managed by the business team.

I worked on the technical structure, WordPress configuration, WooCommerce setup, frontend implementation, and optimization required to deliver a reliable production website.

The architecture also provides a foundation for future improvements such as expanding the product catalog, adding new business sections, and introducing additional e-commerce functionality.
